From 214(b) Refusal to Approval: How Attorney Collaboration Turns Cases Around

I woke up to a fantastic shout-out in this week’s Consular Intelligence newsletter from Attorney James Hollis. If you are in the immigration space, you know that James (and the team at McEntee Law Group) are well-respected for their excellent work and client-focused approach.

In his newsletter, James discussed the strategy behind turning around difficult visa refusals. He highlighted a recent case where we collaborated to help a client overcome a prior denial and a lot of anxiety.

This philosophy is central to how I handle my own direct clients when they intend to consular process their visa applications, and of course when I collaborate with another attorney for the final push across the finish line. The earlier in the case you start to think like a consular officer, the better, and James puts his clients at an advantage because he understands this.
